In the small, quaint, old world town of Frankfort just 30 miles south of Chicago Illinois is the home of Sterling Custom Cycle Inc. A small family owned company that like a lot of companies started at home in a two car garage. Now working from their new office and shop, Scott Klein and his wife Judy along with their son Matt and daughter Kristen all have a part in running this custom bike shop.

Scott didn't start out building motorcycles. His training for design and fabrication began in the late 1970's where he worked as a tool and die maker building high speed robotic assembly machines. In the mid 1980's he was promoted to a mechanic engineering position designing the same type of precision assembly machines. All this training has prepared Scott for creating award winning motorcycles.

Passionate and meticulous about his work, Scott fabricates one-off custom bikes like no other. Trusting know one else to work on his creations, Scott builds each machine from start to finish specifically for each customer. Exact specifications and needs for each rider are different so no bikes are ever built just to sit in the showroom. The cutting edge designs and clean flowing lines clearly distinguish his custom machines from rest of the pack. Although beautiful to look at, all Sterling Custom Cycle Inc. motorcycles are built to ride.
